PREPARATION FOR THE DARK RETREAT
•
This is an intense course that will give you tools to continue working in your daily life and also to be prepared to work in the darkness.
You will learn astral projection and dream work practices, how to connect with inner and outer 4 elements, you have possibility to experience few hours of darkroom and purify yourself in temazkal, you will be introduced Mayan cosmovision and 20 Nawal archetypes including practices connected with those energies, course will also open up the Mayan mysteries and Mayan master Quetzalcoatl's true teachings.
We encourage participants to try after the course 3-4 or longer to stay in dark room. There is a possibility to stay just after the course or register to a dark retreat separately whenever it feels right for you.

Gene spent over ten years exploring expanded states of consciousness and out-of-body experiences before working publicly to share his insights; publishing his first book, ‘Beyond Dreaming’. He holds a BA Hons degree in Philosophy, specialising in phenomenology and the experience of ‘Gnosis’ through lucid dreaming and astral projection. He was part of a Gnostic school for several years and is still a devoted student of it while maintaining his own broader approach.
For Gene, astral projection became the gateway to realizing the urgency and necessity of following a path of self-knowledge, and as he progressed, teaching others became a natural part of that path. Gene teaches how astral projection is an integral part of reality and a crucial part of each person’s journey of ‘awakening’.
Kairi combines her love towards mysteries and spiritual practices with art, singing and connecting with nature. She is filmmaker and artist, who is playfully yet in a determined way dedicated her life to experiment with practices from
mayan mysteries, 4 elements, buddhist meditations,
dark room retreats, mystery tradition teachings, gnosis and astrology.
She did her BA degree in film studies and MA degree in religion anthropology. She is interested in sharing a more practical approach to different religions and drawing parallels between mystery tradition teachings around the world.

The Hermitage is a family owned retreat center founded by Severin and Emma Geser, who are both commited meditation practitioners and qualified meditation and yoga retreat leaders. They live with their children on the shores of Lake Atitlan and offer their beautiful property up for all those looking for solitude and peace.
